We often receive queries from students at
university about
starting polo and setting up polo clubs. Whilst in the future we hope
to be able
to advise you in greater detail on this site, at present we recommend
the
following:

Enthusiasm. If you are
able to gather a group
of like mid students who are also interested in learning the game, then
you can
approach your Union, to discuss club formation, constitutions etc. SUPA
can give
no assistance to clubs which do not have a formally bound constitution.

Having completed step 1, you should then
approach
SUPA for further help and advice, we are keen to promote polo
within the
university system and have an allocated grant specifically for this
purpose. Please

If,
however you are unable to get enough students together to form a club
or perhaps
you may wish to find out more about the game again contact supapolo who
will be able to advise on the best plan of action. Use this website for
up coming
events, including the National Universities Arena Polo Championships
held in
February each year. These provide the ideal opportunity to meet other
university
players, and to see the game in action; at all levels.
